Dictionaries for plugin

is there anyone working on dictionary files or do i just need to find them/create them by my own? if i do need to create/find them, where can i look for them? particulary hebrew dictionary.

I don't know many details myself since I never used that feature before, but have you looked at the wiki:

At the bottom of that page you can find pre-built dict.desc and dict.index files.  These will get you a basic dictionary functionality.  I have this on my Gigabeat and I have found it to be a useful on-the-go reference.  It would be nice to stir some more interest in this and move the development of this forward some more.

okay so i'm using chrisjs build, which includes FS#6697 - New dict plugin, and i found this page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_download
which has wikipedia XMLs in it and i found what i think is a convertor -

but there is a bit of a problem......
I don't know the first thing about linux/compiling/other weird stuff. how can I, as a windows xp user, convert xml wikipedia dump files to dict and idx files?

p.s. if it's open source you can make a convertor for further development for rockbox or create a windows verision, right?
