crossfade issue

i Have 60Gb ipod. When you change pitch, the crossfade flounders. What's the reason ? Can any one help please. I did notice though, this is a problem with the metatag project. Before the meta tag implementation the crossfade would work fine even with increased pitch. Now at the beginning of crossfade implementation the track is heavily punctuated with breaks and then plays fine.

Also there is sometimes a problem with white noise. When that happens, I simply go to my wps and skip previous and the track runs normal. Please help me mighty techs !!!!

If you search, you will see many threads where people have had to turn off crossfade to get music playing normally.
