Rockbox Utility
« on: March 19, 2008, 06:04:48 PM »
So I've decided to give Rock box and try.

when I go to the Rockbox utility's device selection, and I select my devices (or even if it auto-detects it) it still says my selection is invalid. Thusly, I can go no further. Any suggestions?

PS: I know the generation and model of my ipod. As I said, it even does it when the utility auto-detects it.

5g 30gb iPod video. Thanks so much! I'm pretty exctied to try out rockbox once I get this figured out.

Have you selected the correct mount point (i.e. drive letter on windows)? It's not easily possible to figure the drive letter windows assigned based on the current way the player gets identified.

FWIW I get this whenever I try and use RockboxUtility. It doesn't matter how many times you select the correct device and mount point - it always immediately says over again that the configuration is invalid.
