I had two replies from two different persons, so I replied to each of them. Still I don't know what's the problem.

And yes, I've read the forum guidelines (a time ago, I must confess, but I don't remember that there was a limit on the times you could reply to the replies you have...).

If I replied twice in a row was to separately answer to gnu and saratoga, thanking them for their answers and talking about the solutions they proposed. Do you mean that I should have modified my original post to answer them there?...

Yes, I do mean exactly that you should've done that. The forum guidelines have said to do that since before the date you registered. I would suggest you re-read them, as we frequently enforce them around here, to avoid other missteps.
