Couldn't turn on Ipod 5G video

I have seen reports of this on Apple's forums by people who have never touched Rockbox or iPodLinux.  It's just rarer in that case since the iPod almost never gets turned off.

I tested 10 times to shut down from rockbox, and i got that booting failure 2 times. It's totally random. I havent never experienced this issue when i shut down from linux. It goes also to deep sleep. Would it be possible to add sleeping function to rockbox, not just that deep sleep?

It is surely possible, someone who wants it 'just' needs to write it.

Would it be possible, that rockbox turns ipod off by using another method than ipl and makes apple bootloader hang? Just thinking  ??? ;D
