How to Adjust Settings in Rockboy?

I'd like to make Rockboy run faster and I heard that if you make the screen original size, remove the sound, and set the frameskip to 6 it runs faster. How do I do this? Also, are there any other things I can do to make it run faster?

You should also read the plugins section of the manual that talks about rockboy and how to access the settings menu to do all the things you asked.

that was actually supposed to be a joke.  if you knew how to code it better, it would have been done...

although i wouldn't mind getting into some real-world programming; it probably wouldn't be a bad start.
