Updating Firmware without Erasing Rockbox?
« on: March 15, 2008, 12:10:04 AM »
I want to update my iPod firmware through iTunes, but I heard that if you do that it erases Rockbox. Is this true? Is there a way around it?

Updating will overwrite the bootloader.  You can just reinstall the bootloader again after you update and everything will be fine.
