Songs Transfered from iTunes aren't on Rockbox?
mlogans91:
I got some new music recently, but when I put it on my newly Rockboxed iPod I couldn't find it on the player. Do I need to get special software to manage Rockbox or is this a different problem?
Febs:
If you're using iTunes to load music onto the player, you'll need to update the Rockbox database for Rockbox to recognize it. The database section of the Manual explains how to do this.
Note that if your songs are purchased from iTunes and are protected by DRM, Rockbox cannot play them.
zajacattack:
Unless of course, you bought the iTunes Plus songs, which are standard AAC and playable in rockbox.
Febs:
Which is why I specifically referred to song that "are purchased from iTunes and are protected by DRM."

I didn't say you were wrong. I was just clarifying in case the person didn't know what DRM meant.
