Removing songs from iPod
(1/1)
chickfilafan:
I understand that you can just drag and drop with rockbox, and I like this way much better. And I want this with all of my songs because I like it so much. Anyway, whats the easiest way to remove the songs that were added through itunes? Just delete them with iTunes?
Also, this isn't that big of a deal but, can you view the lyrics with rockbox?

Or just delete the "iPod_Control" folder from your iPod, if you wish. ;)
But yes, you can remove the songs via iTunes as well.

There's a patch for a lyrics viewer in the tracker. FS#7432

Thanks. Also when I add songs via drag/drop, will they be shown in the database?
AlexP:
If you initiialise it, yes. The database searches the entire disk, unless you tell it to ignore a folder by putting a file called database.ignore file in it (which also includes sub folders, so if you want to include a subfolder in a folder you are ignoring, you put another file in it rather awkwardly called (I think) database.unignore).
