battery saving

i newly found out that rockbox uses a huuuuge amount of battery -.-

is there any pssible way to save battery?!

Use FLAC, don't play games, set the backlight to be off most of the time, etc.  

And it's probably not Rockbox that's using a huge amount of battery power (most targets are up to speed with the OF now), it's you fiddling around with it all day cause you just installed it and are checking everything out.

FLAC causes the HDD to spin up often so it's not really that good for runtime.
