Ipod keeps reverting

Everytime i plug in my ipod mini 2nd gen if it isn't turned on it goes back to the old os
The history function isn't working in the database, never played tracks shows played tracks
when i try to download a theme with rbutil it says "error wrong format"

What do you mean "plug my ipod mini"?

As far as I know USB doesn't work on your target at the moment so that's why it goes back to the original firmware.

There are some issues with rbutil and the themes site at the moment:

Please be patient until problems are resolved.

In order for the Database History to work you have to enable General Settings -> Database -> Gather Runtime Data.

Febs:
Do you have the hold switch on when you plug in the USB cable?  If so, this will start the original firmware, and when you unplug the USB cable, the original firmware will continue to run.  If not, then Rockbox should reboot into Apple's emergency disk mode for the duration of the USB connection, and then reboot into Rockbox once USB is disconnected.
