Stop playing in noisy environment

But keep in mind, if you're an eBay shopper, that it's been flooded with fakes of both these models.

i commute about 3 hrs/day - 2hours via bus and 1 hour via subway. i use the Shure e2c and I keep the volume on my player at 1 -- I know because i tried turning it down and then it went to mute.
I also bought my wife and kids the JVC HA-FX33 for a recent flight. They seemed satisfied with these.

I've always bought mine in electronics stores (bought a pair for the g/f too). They're not ridiculously priced, so the premium you pay in a walk in store as opposed to the web isn't too bad either.
If I was buying some really high end model I'd probably shop online - but the two I mentioned are good enough for me that I consider spending more a waste.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm not a super audiophile so I would have gone with the majority on the CX300s, but the short cable _would_ bug me... just how short exactly?
Thanks for the heads up on eBay, I usually do check there, but might have to give it a miss this time.

I'm 6 feet tall, and I keep my player in my pants pocket, and the CX300's cord has never proven a hindrance to me. That being said, I'm not sure where mine are at the moment, so I can't give you an actual approximation of the length.
