Uninstalled Rockbox: need help ; ;

(1/1)

Ipod: 30gig Video

So for the past few weeks, I've been messing around with Rockbox and decided that I'd like to give the apple firmware another go before I decide which to keep, However I ran the Rockbox utility, uninstalled rockbox, and now my ipod doesnt display any of the music files I have on it.

Even music prior to installing rockbox has vanished.

I know the songs are still there since they still show up in the Ipod control folder, but when I turn my ipod on, they don't get displayed.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

XavierGr:
You have to import all your audio files through iTunes to make it recognizable by the original firmware.
That's why Rockbox is a blessing, you don't need 3rd party programs to operate your device.

So to make it as it was, copy all your files back to your computer hard disk and import them again in your ipod with iTunes. It will build again your tag database and hopefully, you will be able to see all of them again.

Well, at least that's my guess.

What does iTunes show and/or tell you about the iPod when you connect it?
