compiling - clock skew warning
«

Hi,
i'm completely new to compiling etc.
at present I am using cygwin to build a normal version of rockbox for my H120.
The build process gives me intermittent timing warnings and at the end states:
"make: warning: clock skew detected. your build may be incomplete"
the build does seem to be created and does zip ok - i havent tried it my player yet
is this warning normal?
is there something i've done wrong?
thanks
Mat

I think a lot of people get that message on cygwin - it's safe to ignore it I believe.

Yep, it's caused by the FAT32 filesystem only having a "last modified" timestamp accuracy of 2 seconds, so moving to a different filesystem will stop that. As said, it's generally safe to ignore.
