I'm not quite clear what is and isn't happening.  Can you reply with some more details?  Which model of iPod?  What do you click, and what does it say or look like?  I'm afraid we cannot see your screen so you need to describe it.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a video, then the theme downloads from rockbox-themes.org are currently disabled due to bandwidth issues.  I don't know what rbutil will show in this case.  There is a mirror at rockbox-themes.cleansoap.org that you can use to manually install them for now.

I think he might be referring to not being able to find out which themes are on the iPod through the Utility, which I can imagine would happen if the themes were manually installed outside of the Utility...I may be wrong, but that could definitely be the problem.

Yes, I have this problem too.. I get a 'No Themes Found' message when I try to install Themes with the utility..

So, I tried the manual way, but it seems that only part of the theme actually loads.. The background graphic and font loads, but the WPS looks nothing like the one on the Theme download page..

I am using the newest version - r18116.. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Any ideas would be welcome..

Thanks!

Yes, this is what happened is you install themes manually. But I don't think the OP means this, I guess he means the "no themes found" message when trying to install additional themes.

The themes syntax changed a while ago. All themes with incorrect syntax will get rejected, i.e. the offending part will not get load. This part is the wps, thus everything else loads. Your theme is outdated.

Please check the forums first, this is a rather common issue lately.

If it doesn't work, it's outdated.

It's very safe to say that every theme downloaded from the rockbox-themes.org site will be out-dated since no submissions are being accepted anymore.  The themes on the wiki on this site will hopefully say whether or not they work with the new syntax.  The best bet is to look at the most recent update date and if it's from before the syntax change, the theme probably needs at least a little bit of fixing to work.

So is the only place to find themes that will work with the current build on the wiki? Where on the wiki are they, as I cannot find them.
