V1 iPod Nano won't load Mpeg videos
mikemyers121:
I recently installed rockbox on my V1 iPod nano, and I was eager to get a video playing on it. I tried to load the video, and it goes to a black screen, and freezes. It is in Mpeg format. The file is only about 15mbs so it shouldn't take long to buffer. I can leave it sitting for 10 minutes and it still doesn't load. Any help would be appreciated.

What did you use to convert the video?
Llorean:
This isn't a hardware question either... Please, read the "POSTING IN THIS FORUM" post before posting in the future. I'll move this where it belongs.
mikemyers121:
It was just a free trial program that converted avi files to mpegs.
Llorean:
Do you know then the exact details? MPEG-1 or MPEG-2, framerate, audio codec, sample rate, bitrates of both audio and video?
