Installation Problems,

i have an ipod nano first gen,and i just downloaded rockbox.when i downloaded it,i opened up the manual,but all of the letters are messed up symbols and questions marks...whats wrong?

Unzip the file to the root of your nano, and read the manual for further instructions.

i opened the nano folder but i cant find the root...which file is it?and by unzip do you mean to extract the file?sorry,im not very good with these things

You might want to try using the installer, which will extract the contents of the Rockbox build for you:

i downloaded the installer,but when i got to the configure dialog and click nano 1 gen and ok,another error comes up,and it brings me to configure again...whats the prob?
