Adding/Removing Songs From Ipod Nano

alright....heres my problem (sorry if this is in the wrong forum)

How do you add songs to your Ipod Nano 1st Generation?

How do you remove songs from you Ipod Nano?

However you want.  To rockbox your Nano is just a hard drive.  Personally I copy and paste to get them on, and delete to get them off using Explorer (well, Dolphin actually, but... as I like proper folder structures and ease of use, but if you want to use iTunes or other management software then feel free.
