iPod Radio Remote doesn't work with Rockbox (was: Please help me.....)

I'm really sorry maybe you alredy discouse this ploblem in this forum but i did'n find
this topic and it's reason why i writing this questions here.

So my preblem is iPod Radio Remote
 


it doesn't work with Rockbox or i have to do something to make it works?

Rockbox doesn't use Apple's Accessory Protocol, so accessories like the iPod remote won't work.

But it works but just volume control

Well, I would imagine that it takes a line-out signal from the dock connector and then runs that to a headphone amplifier.  The volume controls probably change the gain factor applied by that amplifier, so I'm not too surprised that this works.  

Changing tracks requires communication with the iPod via the Apple Accessory Protocol, so we shouldn't expect that to work.

Not yet anyway. LinusN has made progress with a serial driver for the PP502X processors in the last few days.

I like rockbox a lot but i have got used this Ipod Radio Remote it's very confortable

It will be done when it is done.  Because Rockbox is developed by volunteers working in their spare time, we cannot predict when features will be implemented.

I have the same remote myself, and I am working on this, but I don't have much time to spare currently.
