Sansa C250 won't stay in MSC mode

Hi folks,

I have a Sansa C250 that I would like to put rockbox on, however, it will not remain in MSC mode. I am totally blind, and when I have a sighted person se it for me (if there is a way to get in to it without sighted help plese tell me how), but when the device is turned off then connected to a windows PC, it goes back to its standard mode, not MSC.

Can this be fixed, and how?

maybe change firmware version? I am using 01.01.00F  and it works OK. Anyway I have noticed, that when I plugged my device in Auto mode (when it was with OF 01.01.06) under linux it was normal mass storage device (but under windows don't)
