MediaCoder Rockbox extension

Has anyone used this successfully? It doesnt work at all for me. It opens up the extension window, and firefox tells me I am missing a plugin which it can't find(none of the other extensions complain about a missing plugin). I try selecting my player model and hitting start, and the file starts transcoding, but it ignores anything I set in the extension window. It is encoding a file with h.264 at 800kbps which is what is set by default in the main program window.

Any ideas?
