What is the best way to keep playlists of podcasts synced on my iRiver H10?
(1/1)
javiskefka:
What I have is an iRiver H10 running Rockbox. It connects to my computer in either UMS or MTP mode. I currently use Juice to download podcasts. It subscribes to RSS feeds of podcasts, and downloads each to a separate folder and generates a Winamp-compatible playlist. Then I just use WMP to copy the contents of a number of media folder to the iRiver. There are a few problems with this setup. The playlists generated by Juice or Winamp use complete file paths while Rockbox needs relative file paths in its playlists. Selecting the podcasts filed under a certain artist sorts them in alphabetical order instead of by track number or date, so I do not know what date or time the particular podcast is from. Also, I would like a way to automatically removed podcasts that I have listened to from the device.
Does anybody else who uses an H10 have a good solution for syncing podcasts to your device, or even a method of dynamically generating playlists that meet the criteria above?

Have you tried using the database's album view to sort by track number?
