any plans to ever make a firmware for archos jukebox multimedia ?

I had a archos jukebox for a couple of years that I used the rockbox firmware on and it was great then suddenly it started acting up then just stopped working... the hard drive is fine ,etc.. I think the jukebox has just lived its life out... anyway, I got a good deal on a jukebox multimedia and thought I'd put a bigger hard drive in it and put a bunch of music on it and also use it as a portable movie player since you can connect it to a tv,etc and I could load divx movies on it... I didn't even check here to see if the rockbox people had a firmware for the multimedia before I bought it and now I see there isn't one... just wondered if there would ever be one ? seems like all the really smart people working on this stuff could make one for it with the latest divx and xvid codecs ... wishful thinking ?

Llorean:
Rockbox is entirely volunteer work. What this means is that new ports happen when people who own the players work on it. We don't plan ports, and as far as I know, nobody owning a Jukebox Multimedia has come forward and started working on one. You could be that person.

LMAO... I wouldn't even know how to start on that... I wish I could...
