That is in the manual...

But briefly, you hold select on the directory or song you wish to copy until the context menu appears, then select cut.

Now go to the directory you want to move the directory or song to, hold select until the context menu appears, then select paste.

As for viewing battery life, from the Main Menu you can go to System, then System Info, to view percentage remaining, and estimated time remaining.

Or, you can go to Settings, then General Settings, then Display, then Status/ Scrollbar, then Battery Display, and change the setting to Numeric. The icon in the top left corner of the screen will become a number, representing how much of your battery is left in percentage.

Unfortunately you cannot multiple select, you  can only select one directory or file at once.  The SD card should appear in the file tree as .  Does it not?

Sorry, that should be <microSD1>.

It reboots to he Sansa OF as rockbox doesn't yet have a USB mode for the Sansas.

Are you sure it isn't an SDHC card? The OF can only read regular micro SD ones, not SDHC.

Also, could you make sure it is formatted as FAT32?

As far as I'm aware, 2GB should be SD not SDHC, but I may well be wrong.

oranili:  So connected to the PC in the Sansa firmware, you can see the main flash disk, but not the card?  As Zajacattack says, could you double check it is SD not SDHC?

Edit:  Apparently 2GB cards can be iffy:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sd_card#Compatibility_issues_with_2_GB_and_larger_cards so the issue may well be that.  Thanks to scorche for the link.

Boot into the Sansa firmware before connecting it to the PC. (Hold down left as you press the power button.) That often helps when you have a memory card inserted.
