Hi.
I hope someone can help me with this as I have been searching the forums but so far without sucsess.
I would like to uninstall rockbox from my 5G iPod. When I first installed it I used the Rockbox utilitys, and rockbox installed just fine. However, when i tried to boot the original firmware (by swithing on hold) the iPod just came up with the silvery apple and then restarted.
I then tried to uninstall rockbox with said utilitys. But now i just get to the silvery apple and then the iPod restarts and so on and so on and so on.
I then turned the iPod into diskmode, Windows found the iPod, iTunes found the iPod and I rebuildt the iPod with iTunes. Wonderfull eh? Not quite.
I still get to the silvery apple and then it restarts.
I have tried installing and uninstalling the rocbox bootloader with the ipodpatcher program but that does not seem to work.
So now i'm back to running rockbox, wich seemingly work fine. I would, however, like to go back to the original Apple firmware however strange that may seem to some of you.
Any tips on how to make the original firmware boot again?
