Ipod Mini gone crazy
(1/1)
gemues_e:
My Ipod mini has gone crazy!
Although i have the 4Gb version and the capicity seems to be 3906 MB there is only 39 Mb of Space i can use.
I tryed seeral times to format the disk or reinstall the Original Firmeware but that seems to have no efford on my problem.
With having hardly any data on the ipod i am not abel to install RB.
Error message: Bootloader seems to be installed allready.
I hope you can help me to fix that bug
thanks
Jonas
P.S: i am Sorry for my bad english

have you tried running chkdsk /f on that drive? That tool is rather good at fixing filesystem issues (according to my experience). Don't confuse it with scandisk (a newer tool, also from microsoft. chkdsk runs from the command line), that doesn't work that well (again, according to my experience. YMMV.)
When running it, don't forget to use the option /f

yes thank you i tested this --> there are no problems with the drive it selfe.
But by the systemconfiguration i found out that evry time i format it, it makes new partitions on it! exactly it's the 3867Mb siced :G\ and the one itunes etc uses: it is 39Mb siced and is neither named or mapped. If i delete :G\ neither Explorer or itunes can use the ipod anymore - i have to restore it.
