Hi,
I'm a happy user of Rockbox (on a Sansa c250) and I update it every day,
now already a while ago once the .rock filename extensions appeared in the plugin menu's. I thought it wasn't a big problem and would be fixed in a next build.
Bu now it's already there for a few weeks and I think it has something to do with something I've done, since i see no other posts about it in the forums.
I hope someone can point me the problem / fix it :)
Greets,
Thomas Rinsma

So, what is the problem? In the plugin menu, the names have .rock after them? Is it hindering anything?

I guess not, but I believe the poster wants to know if he found a bug or not. Or maybe he wants to know which setting he inadvertedly changed.

There is an option for when to show and which file extensions to show:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-gigabeatf/rockbox-buildch7.html#x10-1070007.3
I have used the gigabeat F manual as a reference, but it should be the same in all.
