Couple of questions

I've inherited a 30G iPod video.

If I install rockbox, can I still use the alpine interface to my stereo in my car? With all the functionality?

Can I revert back to the normal iPod firmware if it doesn't work as expected?

1)  Check out http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IpodAccessories

2)  You can dual boot with rockbox, and of course uninstall if desired.

If you want to switch back to the apple firmware just restart your ipod and put it on hold when the apple logo appears
