[fixed] Cabbie 2.0 - no icons in WPS-mode
(1/1)
dumbo20:
I didn't update rockbox on my Sansa e250 for a long time.
Today I updated to r16430 and noticed, that Cabbie 2 is now the default theme and thus, doesn't need to be included manually.
Unfortunately, I also noticed, that in WPS-mode, Cabbiev2 now doesn't show any icons, as well as it doesn't show the 2 prominent orange bars above and below album art.
It doesn't make a difference, if I use the included cabbiev2 or if I download and manually add the cabbiev2-theme myself.
Did I do anything wrong?
ZincAlloy:
that's weird. sounds like the folder containig the graphics is missing or empty.
the latest e200 version was uploaded over a month ago and I can't recall anybody reporting problems like yours. somebody should have noticed if something is broken.
try to delete the .rockbox folder (don't forget to backup any files you might need later on) and install a new one.
dumbo20:
I deleted .rockbox completely now and reinstalled rockbox - success!
The wps screen is now, what it is supposed to be!
Last time I didn't delete the folder itself, but deleted all the contents instead. Maybe there were some remnants left, although I'm pretty sure, I deleted all files there :-\
Thank you for your comment - sometimes it isn't difficult, to fix rockbox "problems" ;D
ZincAlloy:
you're welcome!
easy fixes for unexplainable problems aren't rockbox exclusive. this phenomenon can be observed with all kinds of software, computers and other devices. simply switching things off and on again fixes 90% of all problems. ;D
zajacattack:
I think it's just because of corruptions, file mix-ups, etc. Repetition and re-installation(initiation) usually fix these.
IMHO.
