Kudos to the developers on the new UI

Just updated my ipod video 5.5 30gb and I really like the effort put into the UI. It's looking very slick.

Good job guys. About every few months I see some really great improvements. The first one was rock solid stability. This second one was the UI.

Now I'm crossing my fingers for speed (responsivness) improvements that everybody's been having I see (after reading the forums a bit).

But anyway, congratulations to the devs. This is great work that I'm grateful to receive for free. I'm just glad my entire ogg collection can play on an ipod.

I hope you know the "new GUI" is actually just a new default theme.  Rockbox has been themeable for quite some time, it's just the default theme was that black and white one that no-one seemed to like.  There are many more themes on the WpsGallery wiki page and http://rockbox-themes.org .

Actually, I think I was aware of that, but wanted to show my appreciation anyway for each one of these times when I see the devs, themselves, take it upon themselves to make rockbox better with the default setup. I think my concern before with any of the enhancements was performance. Now that the devs have set it up by default, I hope it means they've worked out performance issues (and from what I can see, it looks responsive).

I'm always glad to see these big steps forward every few months.
