where is the how to install rockbox?

ok ive selected to browse for the orifinal firmware file ive selected it then clicked ok msgs in window are the following "starting bootloader installation" next msg is "could not dtect firmware type" and progress stance down the bottom still says 0%

well the h300.hex is the original hex file b4 any firmware updates at all.. so its the original but my firmware version atm on the iriver is the 1.29 k version which i also selected since the original never worked and this current version didnt work either

Please use real words, as per the forum guidelines. Not words like "b4". If you haven't read the guidelines, you should do so. If you have, be aware they are strictly enforced.
Try the "manual install" section of the installation instructions, and use a firmware version that is specifically one of the ones mentioned as being compatible.
