« on: February 24, 2008, 04:14:02 PM »
I lost my original files in a hard drive failure, and I would like to remove rockbox.
Thanks in advance

If you have the original Gigabeat CD, you should be able to get the original firmware off of it.

There's another location on the PC with the file, but I don't remember exactly where.

The original files should be located in the gigabeat room program files folder.

Why are you switching back?

i might not be if i cant find file, I just liked the factory interface better, I stopped using my mp3 player after i converted it. I did notice alot of improvements on current updates.

I think there's some confusion here.  According to my understanding installation of Rockbox on the Gigabeat Fx0 involves replacing one of the original firmware files with a bootloader that will boot Rockbox.  The OF bootloader never gets touched in this process.  So, unless you have done something very unorthodox with your player or my understanding of Rockbox on the Gigabeat is somehow flawed, you are looking for the original firmware, not the bootloader.
