Mpegplayer and audio
« on: February 24, 2008, 01:37:26 AM »
Are there any constraints for the audio stream? Could I use OGG or FLAC or even WAV?

I am using mediaCoder but it seems to not work at all for just mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 codecs. other codecs work fine. What should I do?

AFAIK, the mpegplayer plugin only support MP2 and MP3 Audio. OGG, FLAC, WAV are not supported.

There are a few suggestions on the wiki page of the mpegplayer plugin: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer#How_To_Encode_Files
