My computer isn't recognizing my ipod 5.5 gen.

I just installed the EvilG fusion build on my ipod after using rockbox for a while. Everything works fine on the ipod itself, but my PC won't recognize it. It pops up as an unrecognizable usb device.

How do I fix this?

Put the iPod in disk mode before connecting.
