Is there a manual for using my new player with rockbox?

Haven't you used the manual for installation (like you said earlier)? There is a download version of the manual, and if you carefully look at Rockbox Utility you'll notice a tab labelled "Manual" ...

I you mean "root," then say "root."  Don't say "system" when you mean "root," because as you know from the prior posts in this thread, the system directory is a specific directory on your player which is very different from the root.  When you are careless with your language, it makes it difficult for us to help you and gets very frustrating.  Imagine you were asking someone for driving directions, and they said, "go to the intersection, and turn left."  After you drive around lost for an hour, you return and they say, "oh, I said 'left,' but I meant 'right."
