disappearing albums

Hi. I've been having a problem with rockbox, in that when I go to the database folder, there are a few albums that just aren't there. There's also one song (that I know of) that's disappeared from its album. I loaded the original iPod firmware (I'm using a 30 gig video, by the way) to check if I could access the albums and song that way, and there was no problem. When I went back to rockbox, they weren't there. Do you know why that could be? I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give
