Successfully upgraded my Gigabeat X60 to 100GB!

Christine Tham:
I recently purchased a Toshiba MK1011GAH 100GB ZIF drive and managed to open my X60 (with help from Christian Hack) and replaced the hard drive successfully.

Rockbox boots, and happily tells me I have 100GB.

If anyone is interested in the details, I can post some instructions on a wiki page. I didn't take any pictures though, so the tutorial will be text only.

Created a wiki page:

Congratulations Christine! And good to hear that Christian "Shonky" Hack is still alive :)

Christine Tham:
Markun, if you are still interested in buying an X60, there's one available right now on ebay.

scharkalvin:
Must not be on the US ebay, but I did see an F60 up for sale.
I've NEVER seen one before, they are as rare as hen's teeth!
