Rockbox is only firmware rite?

I can't STAND iTUNES. Its not very user flexable. Is there any other software out their other than itunes, that is better? I seen podbox, but i dunno.

Why not just copy your files to your iPod in the manner of a hard drive? It's quick, simple, and you have full control of where everything goes.

Which file manager to use with your iPod using the Apple firmware is not related to rockbox, and thus off topic for these forums.
