Do Custom EQ settings effect line out sound (output) on Ipod 5.5G?

If I use a LOD connector do the custom EQ settings one can set in the sound menu continue to alter the output as they do through the headphone jack?  I haven't been able to find any answers after searching the net, these forums, and the user manual.

Yes - the EQ and other DSP effects such as crossfeed and replaygain are implemented in software, so apply to both the headphone and line-out.

In fact, even hardware effects such as bass/treble are applied to all outputs...  The only one that isn't is volume - volume is fixed at 0dB for line-out (by definition).
