problem 30 gig ipod vid

i have a ipod  vid 30 gig   and i got the download for it and the ipod catch   i try to instal it it says on the ipodcatcher its installed but when my ipod reboots it says

Held MENU+SELECT to reboot

ok i have no clue what is going on please help

You didn't install Rockbox, just the bootloader. Please follow all of the installation instructions, not just part of them. Reboot into disk mode, and complete the install.

What does "sip file thingy" mean? Please read our posting guidelines, and type out everything you *have* done.

What part of the manual is really confusing? What steps have you taken so far, as Llorean had politely asked you before?
