Problem With 5g rPod

Well, i pick up the pod, start it up and it goes to the diagnostic, (apples software i believe, from another forum), and after it does all its checking, i reset it and am faced witht teh same daignostic page.
Some times, rockbox loads up after a check and well doesnt work. the Harddrive symbol is on and nothing is moving.
moreover my comp cant recognize  it anymore.
and i can never switch over to the apple software.
Since something is prob wrong witht teh apples firmware, i decided to let  itunes work on it when i realised my comp doesnt recognise it.
again.
im really attached to my rpod and i need some help.  :'(

Sounds like your iPod has a non-Rockbox related hardware problem.  But what do you mean when you say it "goes to the diagnositic"?

Diagnostic mode : Hold Select+Rewind on boot.

no wait screw it, its working again.. ;D
atleast rockbox is, idunno abt apple, im gonna wait for a few days before i try out apple.

when i mean the diagnostic, imeant the m25 diagnostic mode things
i saw thread here abt a bloke with the same prob.
