I'm having USB Connection/Charging Problems, help?
If you have a microSD card in your player you must either remove the card on USB plug-in (you can insert it after connecting to write data to the card as long as it's not a SDHC) or boot the original firmware manually first and then connect to USB.

Extra 1:  This won't be an issue when USB support is implemented.
Extra 2:  Are you sure the same thing doesn't happen with the regular microSD card?

I read that but it doesn't apply to my issue. My issue...repeated...is the device will not boot into RB with a 4GB MicroSDHC card plugged into the device, not plugged into the USB port of a computer.

As stated in the first post, the Sansa e250 won't boot into RB with a 4GB MicroDSHC card plugged into the device. It tries to load but freezes at about half of the screen shown. I have to eject the card, boot into RB and then plug the card back in for it to be used by RB.

Wow, my bad.  Having a crap day.  Apologies, and sorry I can't help (...maybe formatting the card will clear the issue).

Llorean:
Okay, I said "more thoroughly" because you didn't provide much information above. The proper response to me asking for more information is not to repeat the information I've already read. Maybe try telling us what it actually says, perhaps?

Frankly, why would I ask you for more information if what you've given me is enough?

It's no problem, we all have them from time to time. :) I try formatting the card again and see. It may well be an issue with the brand of card. I'll try a Sandisk 8GB. This 4GB is a Kingston.
