updating the cpchan build went wrong

ok, can anyone tell how to install a latest custom build because I already had the cpchan build on my player. I DL'd it again (more current version) and just extracted it to the root of my drive. now its just a like a normal daily build as any of the special things such as album art and thingys dont work.

can anyone give me a link to a better build, or did I not properly update it?
