Awesome!! it takes a heck of a long time to tweak. but if you can get the pass filters and the gain set and then go to the stereo separation. and after all that be sure to save settings on EQ and the sound settings. im listening to an old who track off of its hard Eminence front and with custom settings tweaked i can hear like space separation that i dont think i have ever enjoyed before. I wonder how good this will sound with some decent phones and not the crap the player came with.. hmmm.
so to sum up
Rockbox is GREAT but YOU really have to sit down and get inside the box to tweak it. but its so much warmer richer and full it worth the time and trouble.
its like downloading an application expecting a boombox and finding with the some tweaks you have Boze 301s.
