Problems even playing songs

ok so i own a Sansa e250 and love rockbox soo much, so yesterday I thought maybe id get the newest firmware.  So i properly install the new firmware and find woow love this soo much.

Not so now.  I'm having a problem just playing songs that are by themselves.  (sorry its worded badly)
Example:  Im going to play Seven Nation Army, and its the only song i have by The White Stripes.  So i go to play it, but the message that comes up is this:

Seven Nation Army.mp3
          (root)
          (root)

and then it exits right back to the song list of White Stripes.  

the only way to play this song would be to start playing a song that has more than 1 song in the album (or artist) and then to switch to the Seven Nation Army. Any help would be appreciated, I mean i dont mind using the orig firmware (Sansa one) for a while, but hopefully I can get this to work.  

o and also when I do infact get a song playing, when i pause it at say, uhh 2:10 then hit play again, i starts the song over completely.  and i have done already 2 clean installs on Rockbox, still nothing  :(  but thanks ahead of time  :D
