We include things because it's a development build, for developers. You're using it, and by doing so, you're volunteering to be a tester. If you don't want to be a tester, don't use it. Either pick a build that works well enough and stop upgrading, or wait for a "release" version.
So please, don't suggest we remove features that we're working on just because they're in progress. You've got rather unreasonable expectations for a development build, I think.

Where is it that I mentioned a release, I don't think I did, and I was criticizing, true, but I'm at least trying to help, I think the ability to set witch way the device works is a good idea, its My honest opinion, you don't have to take it to heart that I'm bashing you, I'm not, I want this project too work at its top most capacity, and not have too worry about silly little things like turning my device off before I plug it in, I liked to old way, but on the same hand, I hope that you all fix the USB stack so that they actually work, and don't crash the device...
And I wold love to roll back my build, if I could find where you hid the archives, iv'e been searching your site for hours and can't find the link...
Llorean:
It's the link that says "old" on the daily build page...
Why should there be an option, just so that we have to remove it later? It's pointless, since you can just turn off your player.
As for your mentioning of a release: Why should you expect a development version to be concerned about making silly changes that they'd just have to dig out later? It's more or less simply a waste of developer time, so I was really left thinking you thought that the current build was aimed at users, rather than a work in progress.
