Ok, I misinterpreted, but as too the quote, It wasn't a prob either way before, like it or not, I really don't think the new usb stack should be included in the daily builds for this sansa device, can't speak for others, but this one definitely either needs\the new stack too be removed, or the ability to reboot on USB connect needs to be added as a setting. because as of right now, its annoying to say the least.
Llorean:
First: ROCKBOX IS NOT RELEASE SOFTWARE. This is a point you're missing. We include things because it's a development build, for developers. You're using it, and by doing so, you're volunteering to be a tester. If you don't want to be a tester, don't use it. Either pick a build that works well enough and stop upgrading, or wait for a "release" version.
So please, don't suggest we remove features that we're working on just because they're in progress. You've got rather unreasonable expectations for a development build, I think.

Since you know that when you plug in the USB cable while Rockbox is running it doesn't do what you want it to, why would you do it at all? Just turn the thing off and plug it in.

It worked 5 builds ago!
Llorean:
And it will work again in the future. Deal with it, or roll back your build, but stop complaining that people are actually working on developing the software by adding to the *development* version so that other people can more easily help with it.
