rockbox fails to reboot in sansa e250 on usb insert
Gareth Schakel:
As the title implies, I plug my Sansa in and a USB plug comes up in Rockbox... any thoughts?

I'm a new RB user but one thing I might say is make certain you boot into the OEM firmware then plug it in. The get to the OEM firmware, if you set RB as primary during installation, hold the center button while turning the player on. If RB is set to secondary, you don't need to hold anything, just turn the player on.
Gareth Schakel:
yes, BUT before i updated, i could just plug it in and it wold reboot... now, rockbox tries to pick it up and causes the whole player too crash.
scorche:
Yes. We changed this behavior when we started implementing USB functionality. If you want to transfer files, you are going to need to reboot to the original firmware.
(by the way, one does not need to be smart to use ROT13 and while you are referring to smart, you might want to check your usage of "your" ;))
Gareth Schakel:
ok, so why does RB hang on USB plug in?
