New Artists to Database

How can I quickly view newly added artists I put on my ipod using itunes? I just reinitialized my entire database to get the new artists to show up for sure. I'm hoping there's an easier method. Is there?

edit: I found that holding down Select you can press Update Now, will that do the trick for new adds?

Yes, Update Now is what you should use after adding/ deleting any music.
