youtube video playback
Llorean:
I would recommend against using SUPER as it violates many licenses including the gpl.
Strife89:
WinFF will convert to MPEG (at least MPEG 2, which I've tried) directly from .flv files, no problem. :)
daice:
Tried with WinFF and it worked fine.
The output was way smaller (20mb for WinFF against 79mb for SUPER+TMPGEnc) and the quality was satisfactory for me, at least, who am not so worried about video quality.
edulmes:
I have the same problem.
If I download a video from youtube (DownloadHelper or AnyVideoConverter), the video and audio will not sync, and the video usually runs faster than the audio.
I have tried many different methods:
1. Download and encode with anyvideoconverter, both 30, 29.97 and 25 fps
2. Download with anyvideo, encode with ffmpeg using the winff front end with e200 preset
3. Download with downloadhelper or anyvideo, encode to other format (avi) with anyvideo, then to mpeg with winff/ffmpeg e200 preset
Nothing works right. I have tried different source files from youtube, some were 10fps, some 15, some 30. The 30fps ones were the closest to being correct synced, and the 10 and 15 were really bad (estimate twice as fast with 15fps)
Does mpegplayer account for fps differences, or does it always play at a certain framerate?
btw... I am using Kugel's build if that makes a difference. I can try the official build if you would like.
Llorean:
It will accept any valid mpeg2 framerate.
